The Microfragmentation Process



This infographic illustrates the process of microfragmentation which is a new groundbreaking technique for rapid coral restoration. Scientists collect corals and fragment them into smaller pieces, which speeds the process of regeneration. The corals are then left to regenerate and regrow. The coral is then placed back in the wild to regenerate and regrow.
